The impressive speed is generated by the installed powerful brushless 3500KV motor in combination with a 30A Water-Cooled ESC with reverse and the included 3S 2200mAh LiPo battery pack. Equipped with a 17G waterproof servo and pre-installed stainless steel trim tabs and turn fins, the EX BL comes out-of-the-box with great handling making it easy and fun to drive. And, if all that speed leads to getting capsized after too tight of a turn, the EX BL now includes the key feature of self-righting - which allows the boat to automatically turn right side up within seconds!
The Black Marlin EX BL is a RTR (Ready-To-Run) boat that arrives 100% factory-assembled out of the box. The EX BL has a durable uni-body ABS hull that comes pre-painted in a black matte finish with a pre-applied trim scheme, and also includes a 2-channel, 2.4GHz radio system that features fully proportional steering and throttle control, a 17 gram water-proof servo, and an upgraded versatile 2S - 3S 800mA Balance Charger. It even comes with a stand that proudly displays the boat when you're not out racing, and the AA batteries needed to power up your transmitter are also included.
