This is the 1/16 scale electric powered, radio controlled, Tamiya Full Option M51 Super Sherman Tank. In the mid 1950s the Israeli Defense Forces created the M51 "Super Sherman" tank from WW II-era M4 Sherman tanks. The M51 Super Sherman was modified and deployed to counter the T-55 and JS-3 tanks fielded by the Arab armies. The engine sound is a digital recording of a real Sherman engine that changes pitch with throttle changes. Turret can be rotated 360° with realistic rotation sounds. When tank is stopped, turret rotation can be controlled by the transmitter stick. Main aluminum gun barrel has a 5" depression to a 13" elevation controllable by the transmitter. Sound and Visual Effects: The DMD Multi-Function Unit provides sound effects such as the machine gun fire, engine sounds, muzzle flashes and hull recoil action.
